  • Let your baby play independently at first - does he or she shake it? rattle it? poke it?  
  • Show your baby his or her face in the mirror - then take it away and show again. Who's that? Encourage your infant to recognise his or her face and name. Play peek-a-boo games together.  
  • Demonstrate the pop up head! Can your baby push it down and make it pop up?  
  • Use the squeaker and lots of language to encourage noise recognition. What's that noise? "
