  • First let your child explore the rattle and see if they can discover the twisting and turning features for themselves. Assist if necessary.  
  • Encourage lots of rattling, twisting, shaking and turning. Point out the moving coloured balls.  
  • Help your child to physically move the rattle into all it's different twisted positions and encourage him or her to try this independently.  
  • Praise your child when they show interest and play independently.
